Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy
At Complete K9 Training (CK9T), we strive to provide exceptional dog training services and appreciate your trust in us. This policy outlines the terms related to the deposit for private consultations and adheres to Australian Consumer Law.
Consumer Rights
You have rights under Australian Consumer Law if the service provided is not as described, not fit for purpose, or not delivered with due care and skill. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under these circumstances, please reach out to us.
Private Consults
Booking and Payment
A booking of 2 private consults is the minimum
The remainder of the payment is due on the day of the consultation.
Cancellation and Refund Requests for Deposits
Cancellation Notice: To receive a full refund of your deposit, you must cancel your booking at least 48 hours in advance.
Cancellations Made With less than 48 Hours: Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
No-Show Policy: If you do not attend your scheduled consultation without prior notice, your deposit will also be forfeited.
Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your new preferred time without losing your deposit.
Group Classes
Booking and Payment
To secure your spot in a group class, full payment is required at the time of booking. Please note that group classes have a maximum capacity of dogs, and your booking reserves a place in the class.
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation Prior to Class Start: If you need to cancel your participation in a group class, you may request a refund, provided you notify us at least 72 hours before the class starts.
No Refunds for Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the class will not be eligible for a refund.
No-Shows: If you do not attend the class and have not notified us in advance, your payment will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.
Exceptions
In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergencies), please contact us as soon as possible. We will review your situation and may consider offering a credit towards a future class at our discretion.
Workshops
Booking and Payment
To secure your place in a workshop, full payment is required at the time of booking. Workshop numbers are limited, and your booking reserves your spot.
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation Prior to Workshop Start: If you cancel at least 7 days before the workshop, you may request a full refund.
Cancellations Made Less Than 7 Days: Cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop will not be eligible for a refund.
No-Shows: If you do not attend the workshop and have not notified us, your payment will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.
Rescheduling
Workshops run on set dates and times, and due to limited spaces, rescheduling is not always possible. If you cannot attend, please contact us as soon as possible—we may, at our discretion, offer a credit towards a future workshop if sufficient notice is given.
Toys, Equipment & items from CK9T
Booking and Payment
Full payment is required at the time of purchase, whether in person at the CK9T facility or through our online store (if applicable).
Refunds and Exchanges
Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind once the product has been purchased.
Faulty or Damaged Items: If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund in line with Australian Consumer Law. Please contact us within 7 days of purchase with proof of purchase.
Incorrect Sizing: For leashes, collars, or other size-based items, exchanges may be offered if the product is returned unused, in original packaging, and within 7 days of purchase. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
Wear and Tear: Refunds or exchanges will not be provided for items damaged due to normal wear and tear, chewing, or misuse by your dog.
Exceptions
For hygiene and safety reasons, certain products (e.g., food-based items, enrichment treats) are not eligible for return or exchange unless faulty.
Resolutions
If eligible, we will offer either:
A replacement of the same item,
A store credit, or
A full refund, depending on the circumstances.
Changes to the Policy
We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy as necessary. Any changes will be communicated via our website and will take effect immediately upon posting.
